New features ============ 6.50.3:F1 Edge storage recording robustness is improved with an automatic database repair feature. 6.50.3:F2 SNMP MIB r/w OID values are saved after reboot. 6.50.3:F3 AXIS Video Motion Detection 3, which includes Axis False Alarm Filtering, is now a pre-installed ACAP application and replaces the built-in Motion Detection in the product Web GUI. The built-in Motion Detection is still available via VAPIX. Axis strongly recommends current users of the Motion Detection API to plan for transfer to the AXIS Video Motion Detection 3 API, please see the VAPIX Library. 6.50.3:F4 With SD card Encryption it is now possible to enable encryption of the SD card to protect your data. This encryption is transparent to users and VMS solutions making it possible to activate without adaptations. This feature is presented and configurable both in the Web GUI and via VAPIX. 6.50.3:F5 Improved start-up time. 6.50.3:F6 Removed predefined stream profiles: Quality, HDTV, Balanced, Bandwidth, Mobile. 6.50.3:F7 Upgrade OpenSSL to version 1.0.2d. This version also provides support for TLS 1.2. 6.50.3:F8 The API Event Handling 1.10 is being removed from this release. If events have been previously added with this api, they need to be converted using the convert button in the Action Rules web page _before_ upgrading to 6.10. Failing to do this will result in all event configurations being lost. 6.50.3:F9 Max exposure time parameter is now available in the Camera Settings. Known Bugs/Limitations ====================== 6.50.3:L01 For the Java Applet viewing to work with Java 7 update 51 and later add the camera URL to the exception list as per: http://www.java.com/en/download/help/java_blocked.xml 6.50.3:L02 Startup when having mounted network share can take slightly more than 2 minutes. 6.50.3:L03 HTTP notification via proxy using digest authentication does not work. Use basic authentication instead. 6.50.3:L04 Using special characters § ½ ! £ \ ” @ [ ] ’ $ ¤ {}& * ? ^¨~+ =´ ` < > | , ; : in the upload folder name will not work as expected. 6.50.3:L05 Removing a SD card will cause it to be shown as failed or unmounted instead of No Card as expected. 6.50.3:L06 When DST is enabled, export recordings cannot be done via web interface. Recordings can be reached for download after login with an ftp client in var/spool/storage directory. 6.50.3:L07 It's recommended to factory default the unit before making a downgrade if needed. 6.50.3:L08 Recording streams to SD card with a total bit rate above 12Mbit/sec may cause missing frames/sequences. 6.50.3:L09 When changing an active https-certificate, the product needs to be restarted for the new certificate to be applied. 6.50.3:L10 Pan limits set using VAPIX are not reflected using ONVIF.
