Wiper Commands
To use the wiper, auxiliary commands are provided.
The base URL looks like the following: http://<axis-videoserver-ip>/axis-cgi/com/ptz.cgi?camera=<n>&auxiliary=<wiper-command>

<axis-videoserver-ip> specifies the IP-address of the Axis Video Server.

<n> specifies the camera number(default = 1) in the Axis Video Server.

<wiper-command> is specified as follows(see limitations below):
wiper:on
Activates the wiper
wiper:off
Deactivates the wiper

Limitations for the wiper.
When activation the wiper, it will operate for a period of time and then stop. To activate the wiper again with a new wiper-command "wiper:on", first the wiper command "wiper:off" have to be send.

Continuous (joystick) pan and tilt movements.
The PTZ-unit only support the same speed setting for both the pan and the tilt movements. When changing the speed setting with an ongoing pan and tilt movement, the new speed will only be used after the pan and tilt movements first have been stopped.
Autofocus and Autoiris functions.
Autofocus and Autoiris will be enabled after a pan, tilt or zoom movement regardless of the previous Autofocus and Autoiris state.
Preset positions.
It is not possible to save a preset position with a manual focus or iris position. After going to a preset position, Autofocus and Autoiris will be enabled.
Video Source Configuration
Parameter Description Range
Device ID The driver supports only one unit at the time and the Device ID cannot be changed. 1 - 1

Light Control
Parameter Description Range
IR cut filter Set to on to enable the infrared cut filter. on, off, auto

Parameter Description Range
MoveSpeed The current maximum pan and tilt speed. 1 - 100
ZoomTime The calibration constant for zoom (time in ms for maximum zoom change). Higher values give greater zoom changes. Calibrate by confirming that a maximum zoom request at one extreme (e.g. zoom wide) takes you to the other. 1 - 15000
FocusTime The calibration constant for focus (time in ms for maximum focus change). Higher values give greater focus changes. Calibrate by confirming that a maximum focus request at one extreme (e.g. focus near) takes you to the other. 1 - 32000
IrisTime The calibration constant for iris (time in ms for maximum iris change). Higher values give greater iris changes. Calibrate by confirming that a maximum iris request at one extreme (e.g. iris close) takes you to the other. 1 - 32000
WhiteBalance Used to set the white balance for different light conditions. "Auto", "Indoor", "Outdoor"
CurrentFieldAngle The calibration constant [0.1 deg] for click-in-picture (center). Higher values give greater movements. Calibrate at minimum zoom (i.e. zoom wide) and at the most commonly used speed, by making sure that clicking on an object brings the object to the center of the image. 1 - 1800
PanBarRange Range (in degrees) to use with "panbar" requests. Clicking at the very end of the bar will pan half this value in the corresponding direction. 1 - 720
TiltBarRange Range (in degrees) to use with "tiltbar" requests. Clicking at the very end of the bar will tilt half this value in the corresponding direction. 1 - 720
Go To Preset Delay Time (in seconds) it takes for the image to stabilize it self, after the camera has performed the longest "goto preset action". Used for disabling/enabling image analysis (e.g. motion detection). 1 - 100
DigitalZoom Set to true to use the digital zoom. true, false
Heater Set to true to activate the heater. true, false
Defroster Set to true to activate the defroster. true, false
