Videotronic KON-485/232 protocol converter.
|
The Videotronic KON-485/232 is an interface/protocol converter connected between the RS232 serial port and the Pan Tilt camera(s). A Videotronic KON-485/232 device is also required for a complete system.

Preset positions
|
Saving a new preset-position
Enter the name of the new preset and click Add. The camera will then go to the previous position stored in the camera. Move the camera to the desired position and press add again (using the same name).
Updating an existing preset-position

Parameter |
Description |

Move speed |
The current maximum pan and tilt speed |
1-100 |
Pan move time per degree |
The calibration constant for pan movements. Higher values give larger movements. When changing the "Move speed" (see above), re-calibration is required. Calibrate at currently used "Move speed", by adjusting the value until a 180 degree pan request (i.e. "rpan=180") pans 180 degrees exactly. If the pan speed is known, this parameter value is calculated as 10000 * "seconds/degree". |
1-500000 |
Tilt move time per degree |
The calibration constant for tilting. Higher values give larger movements. Changing "Move speed" (see above) requires this parameter to be recalibrated. Calibrate at currently used "Move speed" by adjusting the value until a 30 degree tilt request (e.g. "rtilt=30") tilts 30 degrees exactly. If the tilt speed is known, this parameter value is calculated as 10000 * "seconds/degree". |
1-500000 |
Zoom time |
The calibration constant for zoom (time in ms for maximum zoom change). Higher values give greater zoom changes. Calibrate by confirming that a maximum zoom request at one extreme (e.g. zoom wide) takes you to the other.
|
1-65535 |
Focus time |
The calibration constant for focus (time in ms for maximum focus change). Higher values give greater focus changes. Calibrate by confirming that a maximum focus request at one extreme (e.g. focus near) takes you to the other |
1-65535 |
Current field angle |
The calibration constant for click-in-picture (center). Higher values give greater movements. Calibrate at minimum zoom (i.e. zoom wide) and at the most commonly used speed, by making sure that clicking on an object brings the object to the center of the image. |
1-1800 |
Pan bar range |
Range (in degrees) to use with "panbar" requests. Clicking at the very end of a bar will pan half this value in the corresponding direction. |
1-720 |
Tilt bar range |
Range (in degrees) to use with "tiltbar" requests. Clicking at the very end of a bar will tilt half this value in the corresponding direction. |
1-720 |
Goto preset delay |
Time (in seconds) it takes for the image to stabilize it self, after the camera has performed the longest "goto preset action". Used for disabling/enabling image analysis (e.g. motion detection). |
