Corrected problems in version 4.00: ============================================= 7. NetWare client disconnect problems Burst mode support has been improved which solves problems with clients losing their mappings. 8. NetWare open file problem Resource allocation problems involving file handles has been corrected. This problem could make it necessary to reboot the server after a couple of days of heavy use. 9. NetWare clients using preferred server cannot login Problems with clients not being able to find their preferred server when being attached to the StorPoint have now been corrected. The reason was a bug which caused the SAP database to run out of resources. 10. NetWare 16 KB free on CD problem The CD-ROM server would previously show 16 KB free on CDs in the Windows for Workgroups File Handler. This made it impossible to install and run some applications using 16 bit clients for Windows for Workgroups. 11. Grace Login problems in NetWare Previous problems when using Grace Login in NetWare has now been corrected. 12. SMB over TCP/IP problems The NBT support (SMB over TCP/IP) has been improved when it comes to copying of large files in WfW and some stability issues. 13. SMB password problems The problems with security control in SMB has been corrected. 14. HTTP slash problem If you supplied a path to a directory without an ending slash, it was impossible to follow links from the default page in the directory since the link path would be concatenated with the directory. The CD-ROM server now responds with a "document moved" message with a reference to the same directory path but with a trailing slash. This solves the problem. 15. NW users in HTTP statistics file Previously the NetWare users currently using the CD server was missing in statistics file when accessed from a Web browser. 16. TCP keep alive The TCP keep alive messages sent out have been reduced in order to not keep e.g. ISDN lines up unnecessarily. 17. Nakamichi MJ 4.8 changer support The release 1.05 of the Nakamichi MJ4.8 disc changer includes a bug which introduces some SCSI problems. This is now taken care of by the StorPoint. 18. Amount of installed RAM The amount of installed RAM is now shown correctly in the statistics file. Best regards AXIS COMMUNICATIONS AB
