When checking the properties for a CD mapped on a network drive, the size was always shown as 127MB independent of the size of the CD. 4.29.2:3 SMB: Incorrect size of a file returned to the NT client Running an application failed because a SMB command returned the incorrect size of a file. 4.29.2:4 NetWare: Server disconnections The corrections made in 4.29.1 caused the message "Unable to communicate..." on the console of NetWare console. The previous correction is now revoked. 4.29.2:5 NetWare: Applications creating temporary files Wrong error code was used when an application tried to create a temporary file on a CD-ROM. This could cause the application to fail. 4.29.2:6 NetWare: Improved installation in NetWare 5 environments Minor problems have been fixed that on rare occasions caused problems when installing the StorPoint on NetWare 5 networks. 4.29.2:7 NetWare: A correction for the newest Novell clients Small corrections for browsing problems with Novell clients 3.1 and 4.6. with SP2 have been made. These problems appeared when the ShowAllVolumes parameter was set to 'no' and no CDs were mounted. 4.29.2:8 File system: Ejecting disks while they were being accessed On rare occasions, the server could hang or reboot when disks were ejected while they were being accessed. Disks could be ejected because : a) A changer was changing disks. b) The operator ejected a disk manually from the front panel. c) The system ejected a disk because the drive it was inserted in didn't handle ISO9660 compliance level 3 well enough. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Corrected problems in version 4.29.1: ===================================== 4.29.1:1 SMB: Hanging in user level security mode. In rare conditions the domain controller was never released and all available threads in the CD-ROM server could be reserved. This caused the server to stop responding to incoming requests. 4.29.1:2 SMB: Problems with volume properties in Windows 95. When using the Properties function on a mapped CD share in Windows 95 the volume label appeared truncated and the file system name contained garbage. 4.29.1:3 NetWare: NDS rights. Now it is possible to set NDS rights for CD's with names longer than 8 chars. 4.29.1:4 NetWare: File search problem. Sometimes, when searching for files, the server reported the same file twice. This caused some installation programs to fail. 4.29.1:5 NetWare: Unused connections. Connections to the CD-server from other servers are thrown out after 2 hours, if nobody is logged in. 4.29.1:6 NetWare: Unused connections in statistics. Connections with nobody logged in are not shown in the statistics. Best regards Axis Communications AB
