     1. AXISCDEX is the Axis CD-ROM Extension required by some CD-ROM
        applications. AXISCDEX has the same functionality as the 
        Microsoft CD-ROM Extension, MSCDEX. The only difference is that
        AXISCDEX is used when the CD-ROM drive is located in an AXIS
        CD-ROM Server, while MSCDEX is used when the CD-ROM driver is
        installed locally in the PC.

     2. AXISCDEX version 2.23 supports Windows 3.x.
