         Appendix A   - DETAILED TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION OF RELEASE  App A

          Software version: 5.48

           1. AXIS Print Servers are not affected by the transition
              when a software version 5.48 or higher is used. Print
              servers with lower software versions are only affected
              when the device is used with the NetWare PSERVER print
              method, causing incorrect dates to be printed on print
              job banner pages.

              We now interpretate the date information according to
              the guidelines issued by Novell 1998.

           2. Files were not printed when the MTU size was larger then
              4100 bytes using LPD on OS/2 Warp 3. This size is now
              increased to max 4400 bytes (4 Mbit).

           3. No additional information.

          bitronics support. The problem may be avoided if the
